Rationale

    Nowadays, having a computer-based information system is fast becoming a necessity rather than a luxury for small businesses to survive. This stems from the fierce competition among similar types of businesses, and the customers’ increasing demand for quick and better service. Apparently, only the use of computer technology could address these concerns.

    The big issue, however, is the fact that computer-based information systems are by and large only available to big businesses due to the high costs of system development. In the Philippines, most SMEs don’t even have a computer-based point of sale system because they can’t afford one.

    We at DMS Virtual iSolutions believe that we can turn the tide in favor of the small businesses. For long, the market segment where they belong had been inadequately addressed by IT professionals for bigger bucks that big businesses could offer. Our approach is different. We develop programs that the business owners can afford, and whose costs can be recovered in three months or less. We design our programs in a way that the business owners and their employees could easily use and understand.

    Our point of sale system, for example, is the most affordable, convenient, and economical system in the world. It is even less expensive than using a free POS software!

    In developing our products, we are driven by the idea that there are better ways of doing things than the conventional ones. Hence, we strive to seek new ways and procedures that have never been done before. For example, in the new virtual accounting system that we develop, journals and ledgers have already been discarded. This enables the business owners to generate their financial statements in-house by themselves without the supervision of an accountant. This also eliminates the need to hire a bookkeeper, resulting to lower overhead expense.
