Step 7. Re-attach the paper tension unit and the paper guide into the printer, making sure that the paper strip switches on the paper detect switch.

Step 8. Prepare a box for the POS paper roll like the one shown below.

Step 9. Load the POS paper roll into the printer using the paper knob. (Warning: Do not use the paper knob with the printer switched on.) Align the leading edge of the paper roll with the paper cutter on the paper tension unit.

Step 10. Return the printer cover, leaving the half portion open to enable cutting of the POS paper roll after printing.

Step 11. Turn the power switch on. The printer is now ready to use as POS printer.

Step 12. Re-attach the paper tension unit and the paper guide into the printer, making sure that the paper strip switches on the paper detect switch.
